Well, it’s Sunday night and I’m bored, so I’m going to finally write my blog (sorry Ms. Healey). So what immediately comes to my mind is... we have school tomorrow?!?! Whoa right, I mean it seems like we haven’t had school in forever, because there is always some sort of snowstorm during the middle of the week which gets us off for one or two days.
Now, I don’t have any complaints about this snow we’ve been getting. It’s nice to have off (mainly because we as seniors don’t really need to make them up), but there is a downside to snow.
One of the follies of snow is the fact that I have had to shovel my driveway and my grandmother’s driveway every time it has snowed... and now my back hurts and I’m tired of it. I just want all of the snow to melt and for spring to get here because that means Easter vacation is coming up and that the year is almost over. Now I know what most people are thinking: Snow is lovely! Winter Wonderland! All that sappy junk. But i’m sick of snow, enough said, and now I found out at work today that we are expecting more snow for this week!!?! No freakin’ way!
All I have to say is we better have off school if it snows. We better have off!
Gene I hope we do not have off so you have to go to school. Call is a personal Vendetta, but your misery feeds to my happiness. Obviously all this is false, but I am also just tired of the cold weather... I enjoy the sun and playing fetch out in the yard with my new puppy, so hurry up.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like a southern boy! haha
ReplyDeleteOh Gene, I enjoyed the snow days because I had more time to study for tests. However, the downside is that my teachers have decided to speed through lessons so I am falling behind and am getting lost, especially in AP Calculus. I enjoy snow, but the shoveling, not so much. Part of me wants the warmer weather, but another part does not because I feel time is flying by too quickly.
ReplyDeleteI personally like snow, I love to wake up in the morning and look out my window to see everything covered in a white blanket. However I completely agree with this blog because after a certain point snow gets tiresome and just to much to deal with that is unnecessary. I enjoyed last years extra week that was abreak because honestly without it I do not know how i would of written my research paper. Now that we are at Valentine's Day almost I dont want anymore snow, I want spring and I want it to stay warm, but I am sure that this won't happen, but I can hope for it anyway right?
